Hey guys, Our band is really not feeling what you guys are doing. We believe that you need to fight racism and sometimes drastic measures need to be taken but in the case of have the name that you have chosen, I think you have brought along alot more skepticism and made it seem offensive to many people. I understand the idea you are trying to put out and I think it's great that you are trying to make a stand against racism. But is this really the message that you want to put out? The singer of our band was appauled at the idea that someone would use this in their name for their band, and he is a very open guy. He believes in all freedoms and believes that racism needs to be stopped but he did not understand how you could do this. It's a really touchy subject to alot of people and he has made it clear that we won't play the show unless you change your name or drop off the bill and I could understand you not wanting to do that. But just think of all the pain that you are giving this man, and think if one person can feel this strongly about your band name, how many other people feel the same. It's a strong message that is very hard to swallow for a lot of people, and maybe you just might want to rethink your strategy on this one before you give too many people the wrong idea. I am not trying to be mean or tell you how to run your band, but I believe in whatever my fellow bandmates believe and I think he has a point, and if it can upset him this much, I think it's something worth thinking about. I appreciate your time and I hope you think your plan of action over after you read this. Thank you
