the word does maen IGNORANT PERSON. it is just how cultures & races brought the word out there so much with the hateful means & actions which are now beyond our control since they are in history & all we can do is try change things so people can easly understnad that it has nothing to do with racism at all.

anyone can be racist no matter of color or race bur whites are predomonately circled out more as a racist race because of our horrible history against other cultures, groups, races, colors & so forth.

it is that more n more black folks are understanding cuz they come up to me & confront & let me explain my reasonings behind the bands name & they understand & are down with it. but it is white folks that are more stubborn & not undertsnading in the means of not letting the band make there statement & so forth & just want to jump the gun & cause a rukus just like you guys dropping off a show because of a name which isn't punching you in the face right???? more n more whites want to fight me than anyone else...it's like it's a white on white crime.

we are doing something & will getting somewhere & people will hear us no matter what....there are going to be people that dislike us & there are people that enjoy us & back us up to the fullist. we aren't the firts to use the name like the 70's rock n roll punkers THE NEW YORK NIGGERS

i'd like to say goodluck with your band & hope you guys get somewhere with it & if you play the benefit that is up to you guys.
people do see potential with our band just like HALO GUITARS wants to sponsor us.

anyhow goodluck & keep in touch.

ok, jeffrey, before i can discuss this any further with you. you must look up the definition of the word. that is just sad. if you are trying to do good and are going to be bold enough to name a band that, you need to know the true meaning of the word. and I am not sure why you think you can change the meaning of the word.

what you are doing is offensive. period. to most people with any kind of social awareness.

i think it is great you want to help break walls down. so do i (or i wouldn't be writing this). if it takes some serious media attention or just public attention for you to realize that name needs to go, then that is what is going to happen.

and so you know this has absolutely nothing to do with the music. i wish them all the best with their music and if they had a less offensive name i would be honored to share the stage with a band that wants to make changes.
